The morning training sessions delivered by Dave Chetwyn will consider placemaking. design and planning for historic places. The afternoon sessions will focus on the heritage-led aspects of the King's Lynn Masterplan, delivered by Jemma Curtis and Connor Smalls, as well as the King's Lynn Library project, delivered by Louise Boddie and Lewis Williams. The branch AGM will be held after lunch for IHBC Members and there will be an optional walking tour of the South Quay Riverfront and the King's Lynn Library to close the day.

The training will be delivered by Steve Emery, the director of Fire Heritage Consultancy, and will consider the impact of fire upon built heritage as well as means to prevent it. Specific topics will include an overview of fires in historic buildings, firefighting within cathedrals, churches and roofs, fire doors, in addition to legislation and guidance. The branch AGM will be held after lunch for IHBC Members and there will be an optional guided tour of the interior of the Cathedral following the training.
